I got a female Syrian Hamster two weeks ago. I make sure she always has a full dish of seed and 2-3 times a week I'm giving her fruits and veggies. I have found a bunch of sites that mention some good things to feed them but I can't find anything that says if any fruits/veg are bad for hamsters. I know apple seeds and peach pits are bad but is there anything else I should avoid feeding her? I know dogs shouldn't have grapes and onions, does the same hold true for hamsters? I just want to make sure I don't accidentally poison her.

Also, can I feed her cooked veggies? I buy a lot of the mixed bags of veggies for myself and was wondering if I could just take a pea or carrot or something out of the mix after I've cooked it and give it to her (after it cools down of course) or if I should take one out before cooking and let it thaw.

Thanks for the help.
